You are not alone
Join the 16,000+ Australians standing up for their rights every year
Over 16,000 unfair dismissal claims are lodged with the Fair Work Commission every year.
Unfair dismissal claims are a normal, everyday process at the Fair Work Commission.
Holding your employer accountable is the right thing to do.
You do not have to walk away quietly.
What's at stake
Don't let your employer win by default
If you don't challenge your dismissal, you accept the impact to your finances, and to your name and reputation.
Fight for compensation
Every week without a pay cheque drains your savings. A claim is how you ask to be paid for that. We fight for compensation to get you back on your feet.
Clear your name and reputation
A dismissal is hard to explain at your next interview. We fight to have your dismissal withdrawn and changed to a resignation to clear your name and employment reputation going forward.
It costs you nothing to ask
Your call with us is free. We take almost all unfair dismissal cases on no win, no fee. If you don't win, you don't pay us a fee.

The 21 day clock is already running
The Fair Work Commission gives you 21 days to lodge.
Lodging in time is the part you control. If you are close to the line, or not sure when your clock started, call today and we will work it out.
Do I have a claim?
Start with what happened to you
Unfair dismissal and general protections are complex, and there is more than one way to challenge a dismissal. Don't assume you don't have a case.
You may have strong rights if any of these sound like your situation.
- Dismissed harshly or unjustly, without a real warning or a chance to respond?Dismissed over performance
- Forced to resign because your employer made staying impossible?Constructive dismissal
- Let go soon after making a complaint, asking about something, or taking sick leave?Adverse action
- Made redundant, but someone else is now doing your job?Redundancy that may not be genuine
Do not disqualify yourself. People talk themselves out of a claim every day over things that turn out not to disqualify them. Being on probation does not decide it, and neither does earning a high salary. A short call is the fastest way to find out which rules actually apply to you.
How it works
What happens when you call
Step one
The free claim check
Call us or send the form. We listen to what happened, tell you which claims are open to you, and give you a straight answer about where you stand. If you do not have a claim, we say so. Nothing is owed either way.
Step two
We deal with your employer
If you have a claim, we draft and lodge it inside the 21 day deadline, then take over the correspondence and the negotiation with your former employer. You stop having to deal with them.
Step three
We speak for you
Most matters reach a conciliation conference within about 3 to 6 weeks of lodgement. We put your case at that conference and negotiate on your behalf, while you focus on the next job.
Our fee
No Win, No Fee
We handle almost all unfair dismissal cases on a no win no fee basis. If your claim does not succeed, you do not pay us a fee. In the rare case it is not available, we will tell you before you engage.
What it's worth
What a claim can achieve
The remedies are financial compensation or, in some cases, getting your job back. Here is what is realistic, in plain terms.
How compensation works
Based on what you lost
Compensation reflects what the dismissal actually cost you and how long you were out of work, not the maximum the law allows.
The maximum possible
26 weeks' pay or $95,050
The maximum the law allows is the lesser of the two, but being awarded the maximum is rare.
What the Commission can order
Compensation, or your job back
Getting your job back (reinstatement) is possible but is not a common outcome.
More than money
Clear your name and reputation
Compensation and reinstatement are what the Commission can order, but most matters settle at conciliation, where money is not the only thing on the table. We push for your dismissal to be withdrawn and recorded as a resignation, and a statement of service setting out your role and dates, so you are not left explaining a dismissal at your next interview.
We will not over-promise. If anyone guarantees you a payout or a reinstatement, treat that as a reason to walk away.
